Domestic bluegrass sidemen replaced with more economical Chinese imports
Citing the “financial realities of a globalized economy," mandolinist John Reischman defended his decision to use less expensive Chinese substitutes for his usual American sidemen. Said Reischman, “The consumer really can’t tell the difference, and the savings are huge.”
